To all of our loyal customers:
In response to the situation on Saturday, October 17, 2009, I would like to express our sincere apologies to those of you who were in attendance at this time. As some of you may know, one of the buildings behind the WB Place in Hartford started on fire. Because of the fire, it was deemed necessary to shut down the power in the area of the WB Place due to is close location to the substation. This was done without notice and was out of our control. At this time, emergency lighting in the house kicked in and this then lead to the execution of our emergency evacuation plan. Thanks to the efforts of those working in the house, and the cooperation of the customers in the house, we were able to evacuate the building in three minutes. I would like to extend thanks to all of those involved for cooperating and helping our first ever emergency evacuation be a success. We will be open again on Friday, October 23, 2009 and tickets will begin being sold at 6:30pm and end at 10:30pm. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
